Glór Naomh Bríde Songster

‘Glór Naomh Bríde’ (The Voice of St. Brigid) is the first in a series of themed bilingual songsters inspired by Rachel’s Uí Fhaoláin's research on the songbooks of An t-Athair Pádruig Breathnach (1904-1926).

This 1900s inspired songster contains song lyrics, folklore, background information along with an accompanying playlist of various intergenerational recordings, including Rachel’s interpretation of four songs pertaining to St. Brigid; the ballad of St. Brigid's Well, a newly composed Irish language suantraí, and two songs re-energised from the songbooks of An tAthair Pádruig Breathnach.
